In this article, we explain how to remediate with the NoMoRobo platform
NoMoRobo is a platform that works both on mobile devices as well as landline phones. As a result, they protect and monitor for phone numbers that may be exhibiting malicious or unwanted behaviors such as calling thousands of times in a short time span, calling to advertise and market without consent, and other suspicious behavior patterns.
Before we get started with Remediation, ensure that your company and your outbound dialing practices are in compliance with the TCPA.
To remediate with NoMoRobo, head on down to https://app.calleridrep.com and make sure you're signed into your account. Next, under Carrier & App Remediation, look for the email address provided in the Contact column. This is the address you'll want to send a request to. Unfortunately, NoMoRobo does not have a Remediation form at this time.
We do recommend sending this email from an enterprise email, if possible. If you have an email such as Agent007@Company.net instead of something such as a.007@gmail.com, this will usually work much better to show your request is legitimate.
Next, for the subject line, insert something such as "Request for Redress" or "Request for Remediation".
Finally, for the body of the email, see the following templates to use and adjust to your request:
- "Hello, we're with <XYZ Company>. We perform outbound calls for <reason, specify that this could be appointment setting, follow ups, or similar>. Our company website is at https://company.net/ and we receive consent through lead forms and previous requests for contact, which can be withdrawn through <how to withdraw consent for contact, such as "Press 1 to remove your number from further communications">."
- "My name is <John Doe> with <XYZ Company>. We contact our customers for <reasons listed> and provide a request to withdraw consent using <example, such as Press 9 to be removed from our lists>. Consent to contact is provided through our lead generation forms such as <link to form>."
- "Hi, we're with <XYZ Company> performing outbound calls for <list of reasons>. Attached is all of our negatively listed numbers on our platform. We would like to request redress and establish a positive reputation with our numbers on your platform. Consent to contact our customers and leads is provided through <how consent is legally given> and can be withdrawn using <how to withdraw request to consent>."
The key to this remediation request (and many alike) is that you'll want to add any information to verify your company, clarify what and who you dial outbound to, and anything to show TCPA compliance.
Once you're ready, send off the email and wait for a reply (You should see this within a week). You may either see your flags update in Caller ID Reputation or a reply to your email.
