How does Caller ID Reputation prevent fraudulent usage?

Learn how Caller ID Reputation is one of the most trusted remediation management services in the industry.

At Caller ID Reputation, we're all about keeping things real and genuine, both for ourselves and the businesses we serve. That is why the integrity of all of our accounts is one of our highest priorities. We're proud to be one of the most trusted in the industry for reputation management, so when we perform remediation or other managed services on behalf of a client, the carrier or data provider knows they are dealing with a company they can trust.

When signing up for a new Caller ID Reputation account, we ask all new members to share their business details with us, and validate that they have the authority to represent the business through email and phone verification. Our compliance team conducts detailed reviews, and approves an account for a trial and demo once we verify all associated information.

After a business is verified, we also perform periodic compliance checks on accounts to ensure adherence to our Terms of Service.

The following activities are strictly prohibited, which include but are not limited to:

  • Monitoring phone numbers that actively connect inbound calls to scams (such as Microsoft/Apple or Social Security impersonation). You are responsible for monitoring your DIDs and deleting/archiving them from our platform once they are no longer in your possession.
  • Sharing your account with outside businesses or individuals that are not employees/subsidiaries of your organization, attempting to bypass our verification process.
  • Submitting fraudulent information or impersonating another business
  • Engaging in activities that violate the Telephone Consumer Protection Act of 1991 (TCPA)

If we suspect any violations of our Terms of Service, our compliance team will reach out to the account holders with specific details and steps to remediate the issue. We reserve the right to disable accounts and terminate services without refund to any party that is discovered to be violating our Terms of Service.
